Mark Weir receives 33rd degree honor

Last weekend, my father-in-law Mark Weir received the 33rd degree honor from the Scottish Rite. We were all there to honor him and celebrate this achievement. As Wikipedia states, "In the United States, members of the Scottish Rite can be elected to receive the 33° by the Supreme Council. It is conferred on members who have made major contributions to society or to Masonry in general." You can read more about the Scottish Rite and the 33rd degree honor on Wikipedia.

Here are a few pictures from the event.
