Happy 70th Birthday Dad!

My dad turns 70 today. That's a pretty big deal.

If you ask my Dad, he'll tell you he's turning 40 today. Why? At 55, he started counting backwards. He figures that he's going to live until he's 110. His father lived until 94, so don't put it past him. My dad is spending his birthday on a cruise in Mexico. I hope he's having a great time.

For his birthday, I've dug up an old photo of the two of us from a few years ago. My dad came up to Boston so that we could go to a Celtics game together. It was the first Celtics game we've ever been to together (actually, I think my first Celtics game ever). We had a great time, and the FanFoto folks snapped this picture of us (yeah, I took a screenshot of the photo from their site -- so that's why it has a watermark on it).

Dad, here's your birthday present... Let's go to another game together next time you are in Boston. You choose the game (Celtics or Red Sox), and I'll buy the tickets. Let me know when you're able to come to Boston, and I'll make it happen.

Happy Birthday Dad!
